Razzamataz Carlisle are now taking bookings for their exciting Summer School. An exciting week packed with singing, dancing and drama for children aged 4-18years!
With children in their last term before the long summer holiday, understandably parents are starting to think about how to keep them entertained over the break.
Performing arts is a natural way for children to learn while they are having fun and Razzamataz Carlisle is offering children between the ages of 4-18 the opportunity to use their imaginations and work with experienced actors, musicians and dancers during their Summer school at our studios in Carlisle from 8th to 12th August. We are currently taking bookings for the action packed week of singing, dancing and drama and are offering an early bird discount of 10% if booked before the end of May!
During the week, children and their teachers will work on various songs, dances and drama pieces, together with learning about theatre skills in general. This year musical theme will be based on the hit film and musical Grease! Being given the chance to perform is paramount to building a child’s confidence which is why on the last day, the children will all get the opportunity to perform their showcase to friends and families.
“We take a simple story framework from our chosen musical, which this year is Grease, on day one and devise and invent characters, dialogue and scenes throughout the week,” says Debbie Mitchell, principal of Razzamataz Carlisle. “On the last day we create an original theatrical experience that is conjured up from the students’ and teachers’ imaginations. Audiences and performers will remember this experience long after the summer has faded.”
